Erin Chase is the founder and owner of Chase Coffee Co. As a lover of all things coffee, Erin offers his expertise and skills towards the study and discipline of coffee excellence. It is his motivation to hone this craft by ensuring individuals are provided with the best practices and most relevant coffee information for their success.
Erin brings roughly a decade of coffee experience and knowledge to the market. As a high performing barista, mechanical technician, and coffee consultant, Erin draws on these professions for better machinery and business assessment in order to address root issues rather than symptomatic fixes. These experiences converge to unleash innovation and excellence in all things coffee.
His primary focus is preventative maintenance and repairs, as well as implementing high performing standard operating procedures in the cafe. These procedures include the development of cleaning plans, customer service techniques, timely order processing, inventory management, consistency in beverages, atmospheric creation of brand, operating procedures, and coffee preparation.
Erin Chase is a member of the Coffee Technicians Guild, Specialty Coffee Association, and Water Quality Association. He holds two technician certificates from FETCO and the CTG. He was a 2018 United States Brewers Cup Calibration Judge in Seattle, Washington. In 2019, he was a Barista Competition Preliminaries Judge in Austin, Texas. He aligns his cafe standards to the United States Barista Championship and World Coffee Events, premier producers of events for the global coffee community that develop engaging coffee events and promote coffee excellence.
